Assalamualaikum sister, I am also a mother of a 5 year old boy who is autistic. I completely understand what you are experiencing, there were hard times, but like what you said, they are the best gift from Allah, perhaps a ticket to Jannah for us mothers. May Allah gives us the strength, and the wisdom to us. Allah is the Most Knower, and the Most Merciful.

I am a mother with two autistic sons and I happened to come across this article. What a wonderful thrill to know i am not alone. in fact, i have been wanting to start a autism awareness at the masjid because its real and many families are faced with it and are ashamed to come out and speak. I love my boys and consider them the best gifts from Allah. I also learned to ignore those who hold negativity towards autism or any disability, Let no one even your mother make you feel otherwise. Its wrong and its counterproductive

Today was a truly awesome day for our guys! They absolutely loved being a part of planting flowers for Beachwood Twp. and interacting with Mayor Ron Jones! They did such a great job! I wanted to Thank you Mr. Jones again for allowing us to be part of this and also for taking time out of your busy day to be a part of this with us!
